SD-WAN: simplifying multi-site connectivity

November 3, 2025

SD-WAN decouples network management from the underlying hardware infrastructure, making it possible to combine several types of links (fiber, cellular, public internet) based on application needs.

For a multi-site business, this means intelligent traffic routing, automatic failover if a link goes down, and a significant reduction in reliance on traditional MPLS links, which are often more expensive.

A successful SD-WAN deployment relies on an architecture planned ahead of time: traffic segmentation, consistent security policies across sites, and integration with monitoring tools already in place.
